God of War (2025)

Kratos (Dwayne Johnson) lives in Norse lands with his son Atreus (Sunny Suljic), seeking peace after war. When his wife dies, they embark on a sacred mission: scatter her ashes atop the tallest mountain in the nine realms. Guided by Freya (Danielle Bisutti), they face brutal challenges—from ravens of guidance to frost giants of fury.

Atreus grapples with his divine lineage. Kratos tries to shield him from gods seeking vengeance, yet the father and son bond grows. When Baldur’s spirit returns, threatening to possess Atreus, Kratos confronts his worst fears: that his legacy could curse his son.

In a climactic battle under red skies, Kratos rejects the rage inside him. He saves Atreus, sacrificing the solo warrior he once was for a future neither of them can yet see. As they stand before a changing world, the camera pulls back to reveal new realms blossoming beyond, hinting at future sagas.
